The Tuckers 2: Round 7/ So This Is Christmas?
Yes, this is the face that best represents the Christmas spirit in the Tucker house this season. You've been warned.
Just as a reminder, these are the members of the Tucker family.
The Tucker's beautiful home is decorated for Christmas, well at least the facade is. This is probably a symbolic thing, or something meaningful like that. It seems like maybe their happy marriage is also a facade.
Awww, how sweet. Brain and Dagmar are so in love... Well, actually, Brian is in love with the idea of love and is thinking about kissing. But these thoughts may not be about his wife so much, and her thoughts are most likely wandering as well.
I caught Aerosmith upstairs checking himself out in the mirror, and I think he's quite pleased with himself.
He feels his muscles are now more than adequate to impress his girlfriend Hyacinth Hamilton who is on her way over for a visit.
Oh yeah, he's something alright. Well, he has big plans, so it's an important day to look his best.
He was sweet and made sure to put the chess set she gave him for Christmas in his bedroom.
He asked Hyacinth to go steady with him when she came over, and she said yes. He's so happy that nothing can upset him today - or so he thinks.
Well, this guy is going to try his patience. Danijel's here on a very expensive tour of the famous rockstar Brian Tucker's mansion, and he doesn't think it's right that there's an empty grilled cheese plate upstairs in the dining room. Aerosmith didn't understand what he was supposed to do about it. It wasn't his fault that the butler didn't show up today.
So he decided to show Danijel how the mountain men in Three Lakes greeted one another. I'm not sure if it helped, but at least it distracted the guy a little.
Blondie's needs are fairly simple. All she wants is someone to dance with. Dagmar is willing to dance with her - at least for a little while.
But outside the Christmas party was beginning. All I did was make sure that the right people showed up, and let them start their own trouble. ;) Sophie already seems to be hatching a plan. Sadly, it seems that Willow didn't escape her freshman year without getting pregnant. The baby is her boyfriend Don's though, not Brian's. And Andrew Cameron, Blondie's real father is here as well.
Sophie is "the one sim" for Brian, so she definitely needed to be invited to the Christmas party.
Willow is also madly is love with him. They took turns swooning and flirting with him.
But, Dagmar eventually made it outside in time to see Sophie grab Brian's butt. Willow and Andrew seem really uncomfortable right now, as it looks like it's about to get ugly.
Dagmar put on her best, "Oh no you di'int!" look. Yes, it's about to get really bad.
And the fighting began, first with Dagmar slapping Brian.
But that didn't stop Brian from continuing to flirt with the bewitchingly irresistible Sophie.
So, then Dagmar took out her anger on Sophie, because it had to be Sophie's fault. Surely her husband wouldn't cheat on her otherwise... I guess she has limited peripheral vision, LOL.
And now her boyfriend (one of them) Andrew is swooning over Sophie too.
This is a very bad day for Dagmar.
She tries to get even with Brian by making out with Andrew in front of him, but he's currently busy with Willow. Sophie is heartbroken that Brain's attention is now on Willow.
I guess Brian does actually get jealous when he pays attention. It's not fair. Dagmar shouldn't be cheating on him.
So then he started slapping her. Meanwhile, Sophie is really sad, and Andrew just doesn't know what to do.
Brain is so mad at Dagmar, and she's so mad at him... even though he is hot. They just can't make up their minds.
For the moment, the children are happily dancing and completely oblivious to all the trouble brewing outside, but the trouble was heading inside now.
Sophie was mad, and as she walked past the Christmas tree, it caught on fire. Coincidence? I don't know.
I mean, she acted all surprised when she noticed the flames, but who's to say. Dagmar looks suspicious.
The fire department came out and extinguished the fire. It's too bad they can't put out the flames of anger that are building up elsewhere in the house.
Brian was hungry and wanted grilled cheese, but he was followed in by Sophie and Dagmar who weren't going to just let all this stuff go.
Even the thought of grilled cheese wasn't cheering Brian up.
Not one bit.
Dagmar started poking Sophie. It looks like Sophie had momentarily grabbed Blondie in a headlock - possibly as a way to keep Dagmar from hitting her.
But then she started poking Dagmar. Aerosmith couldn't bear to see all this fighting. They were ruining his best day ever.
Blondie ran out of the room and closed her eyes. She couldn't bear seeing her mom in a fight.
Well, they slapped each other a little, which Brian thought made Sophie look especially hot.
And then they just glared at each other. The fighting was over, at least for today.
Brian was nice enough to serve Dagmar a grilled cheese that he didn't feel she deserved. She glared at him, but ate it anyway.
Back in the kitchen we can get one last look at the young rockstar Brian...
Because now he's an old rockstar. He picked a lucky 13 shirt. I suppose he could have picked worse. But then the party was over.
He had a good party despite all the fighting. I guess some of the guests had fun, even though he didn't. He seemed a bit bummed as the guests were leaving, and just lounged on the couch.
Brain turned the ticket machine back on so that people could continue touring his mansion. His heavily mortgaged house needs to keep bringing in more money for now to pay all the bills, and to pay for the new recording studio he just built next door. My sim showed up, and of course, swooned over Brian.
Aerosmith tried to keep gaining customer loyalty by giving out free noogies. I don't think it was helping.
Blondie was really unhappy about her day, and decided to make some sims to torture to work out her frustrations. Smart kid. ;)
Dagmar decided to try to write out her feelings to figure out what she was going to do. She liked living in luxury, but Brian was proving to hardly be worth any of it, and they never really had a lot of money after all the bills were paid. Plus, people were in and out of their house all day and night, so there really wasn't any privacy.
Brain went to bed late, and alone. He knew he wasn't going to be getting any birthday woohoo, at least not from Dagmar.
The next morning, the butler decided to show up again. I did not let him dismiss the maid and gardener, because even when Charlie McClellan does show up, I haven't been too impressed with him. He doesn't seem able to keep up with the workload. He'd better shape up, or he's going to be unemployed.
And finally, I thought I'd share the updated family trees.
Thanks to Dagmar's extramarital activities, we need a separate family tree for Blondie. Brian may be scum, but at least his cheating has been limited to flirting so far. Dagmar has had at least 19 affairs since they got married. My sympathies are beginning to lean toward Brian. I guess we'll find out in the next round what will become of the Tucker family.
Scoring: No changes.

Some Christmas, uh! But you don't fool me - I could clearly envision you enjoying this disaster. ;) :D
Cool idea having guests paying for a tour of the rockstar home. The whole family living beyond their means. Disaster (in a couple of possible ways) lurking beneath the surface. Next round should be rather interesting.
Yeah, you're on to me, Nonikk. ;) I can't help but enjoy seeing them reap some of what they've sown. I dreaded getting started, though, knowing it had such potential to change everything. I'm kind of surprised it wasn't worse. So far, they are really mad, but no one is an actual enemy, and there were no dust clouds. I didn't even mention Santa, who must have known to stay away despite the Christmas tree and cookies.
I do love Christmas posts. Yay for an update.
Haha, I love it when sims just walk around with really angry faces. It makes for some really good pictures. Great post! I like the Christmas themed round.
Thanks, SirenPrincess! :) It wasn't quite as Christmasy as I had hoped. ;)
Thanks, Chels - glad you enjoyed it. :) I do find the faces fun, too. ;)
Love your Christmas updates!
It'also like a real taloid to read about the rocks stars shaky marriages :)
Thanks, jungfrun! :) Yeah, they are just like the people in a tabloid. Hopefully, it will be entertaining next time as well. As long as the right people show up, they make their own drama at Brian Tucker's house.
What a round... The drama in this house was almost as bad as the university drama :p I'm surprised that Aerosmith and Blondie seem so well adjusted. I'm anxious to see the repercussions from this update later on ;)
Liz, I'm really curious how things will turn out, too. ;) I was really surprised that things didn't get more violent, but there's definitely a lot of tension there. I still tend to be on Brian's side, since except for his recent flirting he has been faithful to Dagmar since their wedding.
Well that was full of drama. Seems like, with the people invited, it certainly wasn't as bad as it could be. The kids seem to be doing pretty well overall, they are cute.
I definitely expected more violence. Oh well, maybe next time. ;)
