Now that Amiee is away at college, Wendy's has taken over as the primary neighborhood newspaper thief. Thankfully, the Hamiltons don't need their paper today.
Forrest is home from his job as a Round Table Knight and doesn't get to change out of his suit of armor before helping Hyacinth with her toddler birthday.
Beverly soon taught her how to walk.
Badger is finally beginning to show signs of aging.
And Acorn is also getting older. Badger and Acorn are the parents of Cashmere, Dr. Watson and Fortitude.
I R NOT SQUEEZY TOY! HALP!
Acorn gets lots of toddler hugs for her birthday from Hyacinth before she is able to escape to safety.
Cashmere is now a star, and quite the diva judging by the expression on her face.
Christopher and Piglet came by for a visit.
I think sim Piglet is pretty cute.
Beverly was promoted to All Star, and also brought home a co-worker, Curtis Tomyoy. Piglet desperately hopes someone will give her a treat.
Piglet is in luck, because apparently Curtis keeps dog biscuits in the pockets of his sweat pants for just such occasions. So if you see Curtis sometime, you could ask him if that's a dog biscuit in his pocket or... never mind.
Forrest unceremoniously becomes an elder. Today is February 21, 2016. He is now 54, which according to Apple Grove Time Reckoning makes his birthday February 21, 1962.
Beverly teaches a cat something. Do I know the cat's name? No. Do I know what she's teaching it? No. It's been over a year in real life since I took this picture. But, the blue bar over the cat's head is indicating that learning is happening. If I had to guess which cat, by looking at other pictures, I can now deduce that this may indeed be Dr. Watson. Since he's standing up, maybe he is learning to fall over and play dead.
Gump reached the top of the Showbiz career and is now a star.
And Dr. Watson has also become a star. We now have 4 stars in the house. There is sure to be plenty of drama now.
And...
What the crap! Why is Beverly adopting another kitten ??? This must have been a random scenario I got. I guess I didn't forget to pick something this time. Yeah, it had to be a random chance thing. I would have never given them another cat. Plus, I named the kitten Hindrance, which is a hint that I wasn't too thrilled to be adopting another animal.
I could also blame it on Beverly getting older and becoming a crazy cat lady. It's Forrest who is really obsessed with cats, but no one ever says someone is a crazy cat man. Anyway, Beverly has just turned 54. According to Apple Grove Time Reckoning, today's date is March 27, 2016. She was born on March 27, 1962, which means that she and Forrest have birthdays that are just a little over a month apart.
Grace 2.0 from across the street at the Webb's house has dropped by for birthday cake... with the excuse of celebrating Hyacinth's birthday. According to Round 4's birth announcement, Hyacinth was born December 27, 2011. Looking at the date of the pictures according to Apple Grove Time Reckoning, the year is now 2017. Even though the season is not correct, Hyacinth just turned 6 today. Happy Birthday, Hyacinth!
She looks thrilled, and I'm sure with a house full of cats she's wondering why I gave her a kitten for her birthday. Tough luck, kiddo.
Forrest takes advantage of Grace 2.0's skills and learns to be slightly more athletic. I guess it would be pretty humiliating for him to ask for boxing lessons from his wife.
Dr. Watson and Gump, the two most troublesome pets in the house (besides Hindrance who has no purpose whatsoever), got in an enormous fight.
Dr. Watson won, which made Gump so upset that he ran away from home. If I had to guess, I would say Gump's thoughts went a little something like this:
That day, for no particular reason, I decided to go for a little run. So I ran to the end of the road. And when I got there, I thought maybe I'd run to the end of town. And when I got there, I thought maybe I'd just run across Apple County. And I figured, since I run this far, maybe I'd just run across the great state of Applebama. And that's what I did. I ran clear across Applebama. For no particular reason I just kept on going. I ran clear to the ocean. And when I got there, I figured, since I'd gone this far, I might as well turn around, just keep on going. When I got to another ocean, I figured, since I'd gone this far, I might as well just turn back, keep right on going.
That cat sure is a running fool.
Did I ever bother to put collars on my cats? Of course not. That would have been too smart.
Forrest (yeah, let's blame him, not me) didn't know that you don't call the emergency number to report a missing pet. But he thinks Officer Amy Philippine sure looks mighty fine in that uniform.
George, the Hamilton's adopted son, is now having his birthday. Unfortunately, I forgot to figure out his birthday at the time of his adoption (I feel guilty about that). I know he was adopted the year after Hyacinth was born, so I'll let the Dungeons and Dragons Dice Roller determine the month he was born. I rolled a 2, so he was adopted in February, 2012 on his sixth birthday. Today is February 3, 2018, so it's his 12th birthday. The dice roller is an easier way to do the day of the month, but I will still use the seasons meter to determine the month.
Scott and Ian show up for cake. Ian appears to be really irritated with his dad. Maybe he's afraid there won't be enough cake, which everyone knows is the real reason for going to birthday parties. Too bad there's no ice cream.
And yes, you can see in the background that the Hamiltons now have a butler. They are getting way too rich. They may as well enjoy it while they can because hope and change will soon be coming to Apple Grove. Well, just change really, and not the good kind. Yes We Can... Haz Taxes!
Ian wishes George a happy birthday by trying to pop his head like a balloon.
George is a good-looking kid, and he seems to know it.
He wants to be a family man, and he wants to start that family with a fat, charismatic girl who doesn't wear any makeup.
Darn you George, you're going to overpopulate my neighborhood! He's really serious about that family aspiration. But at least his aspiration does not involve acquiring more cats.
Scott gives Beverly some tips to improve her golf game. The real Scott has no interest in golf, thank goodness. I kinda like the guy, and golf lovers tend to be on the golf course a lot. I don't want to be a golf widow.
Oh happy day!!! Fortitude looks just thrilled to have finally been promoted to Rescue Pet, which means that Forrest has finally completed his
Beverly isn't very interested in Forrest's achievement, and is too busy playing redhands with her co-worker Adam Harris to congratulate him. She's hoping her friend Adam will pull some strings and help her get a promotion to Hall of Famer so she can earn her Lifetime Want.
Beverly actually went one night to her nearly forgotten business Hamilton's Pets. I should really remind her to open it for business occasionally.
They decided to buy Brickstone Retreat (which ironically has neither bricks nor stones) on Twikkii Island as a vacation home. Yes, they went on vacation even though their cat Gump was missing. I guess they weren't too worried about him.
I did have them put up a few flyers in case someone saw him.
If you've read past entries, you'll know that my Witch Doctor on Twikkii Island is insane. I think I first noticed him lose his mind when Rose and Violet were on vacation. He is usually seen talking to his pal, Professor Von Ball or sitting on the ground jabbering.
He was still Cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs when Martin Tucker was on vacation.
With her strong boxing skills, Beverly tried to knock some sense back into him during their visit, but I doubt it worked.
No one really wanted to get close enough to him to get the voodoo doll, but Beverly was the bravest. Forrest just hid behind his wife, knowing that her athletic abilities were far superior to his.
Hyacinth got a painful surprise while digging for beach treasures.
Beverly looks like she's enjoying basking in the sun, but Forrest looks awfully funny on vacation in tropical Twikkii Island wearing an argyle sweater. He must have forgotten to pack any summer clothes and he's too cheap or lazy to shop here.
Forrest was finally able to at least temporarily ditch the sweater while he learned Hot Stone massage.
George met a very sweet and pretty girl on vacation named Jessica Ajjanagadde. She's not fat, but maybe she's charismatic. She must be cold-natured, because she's also wearing a sweater in the heat.
Their first kiss was a little awkward.
But I think they're really cute together. I may even be willing to send her to college with him.
Beverly and George took some hula lessons from a local woman who stopped by their vacation home.
Beverly looks unhappy that George has fallen in love so young, but what can I do when there's floating hearts? Sorry Bev, Photoshopping them won't really make them go away.
And now we have the last picture of the Hamilton family. They now have so many cats that it looks like Badger didn't fit in the family portrait. Gump, even though pictured, has still not been found. Where is that stupid cat? Thankfully, he had already reached star before running away, so he didn't delay Forrest from getting his LTW. If you see a white cat with no tail and no collar, please call the Hamiltons at 555-1052.
Scoring: 6 points (3 each) for Forrest and Beverly reaching the top of their Lifetime Aspiration Meters. The population of Apple Grove is currently 46, with a total population of 48.

OMG.... "He wants to be a family man, and he wants to start that family with a fat, charismatic girl who doesn't wear any makeup." I laughed so loud my brother in law who was sitting across the room watching TV looked at me like I was nuts....
Thanks, Wen. Your comments have made my day. :) I think some of the attraction combinations are pretty silly sometimes - like stuff no human would likely find attractive.
He wants an all natural and well-fed woman, what's wrong with that?! :)

I like the way you phrase it. It sounds a lot better that way. :)
I need to go back and re-read some of the older entries because I don't really remember much about the Hamiltons. The Forrest Gump reference was great, I lol'ed. I hope that Gump comes home soon! Also, I've never seen a sim get pinched by a crab before, that picture is priceless!

Thank you, Liz. :) Yeah, Gump is not the brightest animal. He's the only pet that I've ever had run away like that. I always love it when sims get pinched by a crab. Well, I feel bad for them, but it's interesting. ;)
I hope they find Gump, I know the family has a lot of cats, but it's sad when they run away. George is a fun kid, and will probably make some girl very happy, as long as she wants kids. :D
I really like George. I didn't like that Gump ran away, but he was my least favorite. If I had to have a missing cat, he was the the one I missed the least. ;)
