We're back to the Bauer family, which is my simself family.

The Bauers: Round 7 / The Christmas Wedding

Scott and I are enjoying a laugh together.  It may be the last one we have for awhile, because things are going to be busy during the holidays.  We're going to be way too busy to have a family Christmas party.

The Bauers: Round 6 / Dog Tired

When we last visited the Bauers, there were 2 weddings: Cassandra and Morgan, and Charity and Elmer.  Amiee and Jason went off to college, and Christopher and Ian became teens.  Padi and Obi had 3 puppies.  The whole family (except for our new sons-in-law) went on a vacation to Three Lakes.

The Bauers: Round 5 / Delusional Days (Years)

I just realized as I was writing this that I must have quit choosing random scenarios for my sims.  I guess I hate the idea of choosing bad things to happen to my sims, even if it does make the story more interesting.  It's funny, because I'm not opposed to choosing punishments for my sims that tick me off.  When I actually get to start playing again (I'm an entire round behind on my blogging) I think I'll go back to random scenarios again, but I'll have to give it more thought and maybe weed out the scarier possibilities.  I think I'll just post my list of the possible random scenarios soon.  I found many ideas that others have used, plus I've thought of a few fun ones of my own.

Additionally, I want to start focusing more on building up some more neighborhood businesses for more realism and less focus on earning points.  I'll have to wait to get caught up on the story again to actually change anything.  I want to have actual business hours for my businesses, and have my sims who don't have LTW careers work for neighborhood businesses.  I think that could be fun, along with having more financial restrictions to make things a little more challenging.

The Bauers: Round 4 / A Family Vacation

I'm going to poke fun at my real family a bit more this time - gently, of course. I can get away with it too, because there is not a single one of them that would voluntarily read this, not even Cassandra - although Cassandra would if she weren't taking care of three little kids. I think I'll be nicest to her. ;) Just kidding, I won't be very mean to anyone, because I do love them very much, and they would read my stories if I asked them to made them.

This would look a lot more natural if they were lying on some grass - better yet, a bed. I love my husband, but I'm not about to snuggle with him on gravel and concrete. So yeah, if this were real life, someone would have to have pushed me down for me to be realistically lying on the hard ground. Scott would have to be under a car.

This is my new Prosperity neighborhood. I chose to name my new 'hood Apple Grove. It has a nice country feel to it. The street names will all be apple-related.
