I think the Golden Anniversary Lifetime Want is my favorite. It's only a matter of waiting, and then picking up a phone.
And then, Viola!
Of course, I still want my sims to have a good party even though it doesn't affect earning the LTW. I noticed that Natalya didn't seem at all interested in celebrating in a way that seemed obvious, but just lounged on the couch before heading to bed. The guests kept locking up, and because I had the game in testing mode, the game was quitting with an error every couple of seconds. I had to delete the guests because they couldn't be reset. There's no bummer worse at a sim party than no guests - brings the score right down to Disaster.
Catherine got home from work during the party with another promotion. Thankfully, she brought home a friend to help replace missing party guests.
Smustling until you're stinky is the best way to party, right? I had to keep inviting people and pulling people in off the street to keep the party going.
I'm glad Sam got a good memory from this, because it wasn't easy.
Amazing that it wasn't a disaster the way people kept locking up and disappearing.
Wait a minute, what's this? It's a wedding ring bobbing around in midair.
And now the wedding ring is sitting in this chair. I believe we have an invisible man left over from the party, yet he's not selectable. Kind of creepy, actually. I wonder how many unmarried invisible people are visiting.
Anyway, the solution is the Stuck Object Remover from MATY. I'll have to sacrifice the chair, but that's OK. Bye, bye Mr. Invisible.
Ah-hah! Adam was the invisible man. Originally, Adam and his wife were going to be Family #4, but I turned them into townies in favor of using my husband and I. So Adam is a townie, but with a wedding ring.
Natalya is finally in "The Zone" with her painting.
Yeah, well thanks to age discrimination in the game that's not going to happen now, is it?
Catherine brought this guy home from work, and I would be more excited about the relationship if they had more than one bolt of attraction.
Even so, I'm not inclined to marry her off quite yet. And I could have sworn that on the last round her Lifetime Want was to become a Professional Party Guest, which is why it took a few days to find the Slacker career track. Otherwise, I would have just put her in any job. My sims are so flaky.
Cool! A membership card to a place not worth bothering to visit. Yay!
Huh? What outing? I don't remember that. The only thing I can imagine she could mean is the anniversary party, where she and all the other original guests locked up and got deleted. That must have been a blast for her.
Catherine gets promoted to Projectionist.
One of the boys misses the school bus, so Sam drives him to school. Right after that I remembered that the kid could have walked to school. I keep forgetting I have that option now.
"Sisters, sisters, there were never such devoted sisters..." Zoe and Kimberly are good friends, which helps out when their fun is low.
Kimberly wants to be a Professional Party Guest. I love you Kimberly - for setting your goals so
Again, I am happy. 50 First Dates is easy because they don't have to be good dates, and they can be extremely short, as in "Goodbye." ;)
Uh-oh, Zoe better say her "good-bye" quickly, before Kimberly catches her on a date with the guy who gave her her first kiss, 'cause "Lord help the sister who comes between me and my man."
Instead Zoe got her first kiss from Red-Haired Ponytail Guy.
And as a bonus, Red-Haired Ponytail Guy is a neat freak.
Big deal. If I hadn't already gone to the trouble of editing and uploading this, you wouldn't be reading it. I will write no more about enthusiasm unless it gets someone something big.
Another promotion for Catherine.
Oh, the Red-Haired Ponytail Guy has a Limo? Zoe was dying to sneak out, so I decided to let her take the risk.
Sam found a statue while hiking. I wonder whose yard he lifted that from. People don't usually just find statues with no owners, and then I also wonder how he lugged it home.
My husband dropped by to visit the Tuckers. Apparently he behaved himself, as I didn't take any incriminating photos.
Birthday time for the boys. I figured out who was who and labeled them.
And now they reverse positions just to confuse me.
My next to least favorite aspiration.
My least favorite aspiration.
Way to go, boys. Crap. This would be a great time for my game to spontaneously crash, but I won't have such luck.
OK, now I'm beginning to hate you, Brian - because I know you must hate me.
Sam is going to earn his gold gardening badge with one tomato plant. I learned this on MATY.
Did not! I have no idea why you thought you were invited for a sleepover. This has happened a few times since Apartment Life, and I have no idea why. Anyway, if she had really wanted to sleep there, nothing was stopping her. There were plenty of vacant beds upstairs to choose from. So unless so was waiting to get tucked in, I have no idea what the problem was.
Still watering... He has the Nature hobby plaque now.
I want my son's band to give us §200, but all they do is take, take, take. The person who wrote this one was delusional. It should read that he had to pay §200.
I may eventually have to give in and let her have Rooster Head Man.
Still watering... But behind him is the first apple tree in Apple Grove. Whenever a want for an orchard tree rolls up, I plan to have them plant one - until it's no longer possible. I still want my sims to be able to move around and get to their carpools, etc.
Finally the watering has all paid off. Congratulations, Sam!
In order to avoid having the girls age to adult without college, it is time to send them. I'm going to send them all, even thought Brian and Martin haven't had much time as teens.
Natalya maxed out her skill in painting.
And she finally sells a masterpiece. Congratulations on being a good but very boring sim.
The bunny rabbits really came through for us. I wonder what would have happened if she had chosen the tragic clown.
Another promotion...
And painting. Yawn. Things are too quiet with all the kids gone.
And... another promotion. Time for a nap - for me. Boring sims.
Except that I wonder who left an aquarium on the porch and how long it's been sitting there.
Scoring: 1 point for Sam's LTW, 1 point for Sam's Nature plaque, 1 point for Natayla's Arts and Crafts plaque, and 4 points for kids going off to college. At the time I didn't realize the badges were an all or nothing deal or I wouldn't have had Sam get the gardening badge - oh well.

Wow what do you do? Just have the sim water, water, water, the plant???? Until you get to gold badge...hahahaha too funny. I love to have lots of veggies in my sim's houses, but then I hardly ever let them eat them. lol
I'll have to remember the response for that job! Who knew?! Rabbits! LOL
Yes, just have them keep watering - it's a game exploit. It also helps if you have macrotastics, which I admit I do. Yeah, the veggies are so hard to get that I pretty much stick to growing eggplants for the juice to build skills.
LOL....so funny to see what different simmers and like and dislike for aspirations and LTW. I HATE the 50 1st dates. It takes forever and that's all they do, it drives me crazy. On the other hand I LOVE Woohoo 20 sims. Romance sims are SO easy to take care of that that LTW handles itself.
LOL, that's funny ciyrose. I just hate the woohoo 20 sims - so much that I may not do it anymore. I do have ACR, so they can do that on their own if they want, but I feel like a madam or something when I help them with that LTW. ;) I plan to reroll in college or give them a "Grilled Cheese lobotomy" in the future.
