Devan arrived on campus. Devan and Daniel were going to live in a small rental home until they could hopefully get into the Greek house. I see that they have both chosen their fall wardrobe from the Goopy Gilscarbo Collection.
Meanwhile, the Tucker kids have also moved onto campus. Martin is good friends with Charles Fletcher, and figures getting into the Greek house will be easy. After that he can get his siblings in.
Charles is enthusiastic about Martin's chances, and calls Lara, Rudy and Sophie to come over.
This random guy comes by and kicks over the garbage can. Lara, Rudy and Sophie stand as still as statues and ignore every attempt Martin makes to befriend them.
I think Brian is feeling a bit sorry for his brother Martin. Getting into the Greek house should have been easy.
Hey Charles, he tried. Maybe if your brother and sisters weren't being human statues it would have helped.
So now we go back to the Greek house. All the Fletcher kids have graduated and are preparing to move back to Apple Grove. They just need to get some members in before they leave so the Urele House doesn't lose its charter.
Charles invited Martin and Daniel over and asked them to pledge. The only disadvantage was that it took a bit more time to get them moved in when they started as pledges.
Rudy broke the computer and got a stern lecture from his baby sister Sophie.
It seemed pointless for everyone to stay at this point, so Rudy left.
And Sophie...
And Lara. Charles said he would stay until Martin and Daniel received their full memberships.
It didn't take too long.
It was time for Charles to move home. He was really excited, because... well, you'll see later.
Sadly, with only Daniel and Martin in the Greek house, the Greek House's popularity fell to Level 4.
After calling many old acquaintances, Martin and Daniel were finally able to get the house back up to a Level 5.
Zoe, Brian and Kimberly were happy to join the house at Level 5.
Devan, however, was an ungrateful, snobby brat. Nothing but the highest level Greek house would convince her to join, not even for her big brother that had sacrificed so much for her and raised her. If I could reach through this screen I would slap her. ;)
Thankfully, the Level was finally up to 6 again so Darling Diva Devan finally decided to grace us with her royal presence. That's alright. She will spend the next 4 years doing lots and lots of cleaning and repairs.
Zoe moved in first - at least of those who didn't think the Greek house would be good enough for them. I decided that maybe she could put the wedding veil away until further notice.
The ponytail seems to go better with her outfit.
Brian moves in.
Daniel has 3 bolts of attraction for Kimberly.
So I know that now that Kimberly moved in she a Daniel won't be able to stay away from each other.
Devan wanted to bring a friend when she came over to spend time at the Greek house. I didn't expect her to bring my daughter Cassandra, who really should be in school instead of at a frat house.
Yep, I knew it. She's telling him how hot he is.
Finally. She made herself the placeholder since she took so long to move in. She will be graduating after everyone else.
Lecture time. This time Martin broke the shower.
It is winter again. This time the attic has been insulated to avoid blue sims. Even in Round 4, there is a blue sim walking around that was a lover of Sophie Fletcher from the first college round. He has never had the opportunity to thaw.
Isn't this just the most romantic kiss you've ever seen?
Brian starts his Lifetime Want of woohooing 20 sims with his professor, Karen Benson. I'm not going to let him accomplish this in college like I did with Sophie, but he can have a few flings.
Let the hobby plaques begin. Martin gets a plaque for games.
Brian: music and dance.
Zoe is asleep when she gets her arts and crafts plaque.
Brian's #2 lover.
Kimberly has 3 bolts of attraction for the blond guy walking by. The drama professor has 3 bolts for Kimberly - and everyone else. Don't you dare greet the man, Kim.
Brian's #3 lover.
Kimberly gets her arts and crafts badge.
Devan doesn't look enthusiastic at the moment, but got her games plaque.
Devan wanted to go into Drama - not a big surprise. I don't remember what the other kids majored in.
Here we go again - Daniel and Kimberly are together every chance they get. That would be fine with me if Kimberly weren't a romance sim.
Martin gets enthused about music and dance - so enthused that he breaks the computer while blogging.
I asked him to fix it. Apparently he isn't as enthused about tinkering yet. I should have had Devan fix it. I usually make her do all the chores.
If you'll notice, Daniel looks genuinely concerned, but Devan and Zoe are laughing.
Finally, a Secret Society member.
A mascot fight. Don't worry, the llama wins - always.
Sigh.
Brian's exploits have earned him Big Man on Campus.
Catherine stops by to visit her kids. Daniel thinks she's even hotter than Kimberly. I'm sorry, but she's too old for you, Dan.
Daniel comforts himself with pizza and an arts and crafts badge.
Zoe gets a music and dance plaque. They also get...
Fire! The fire department showed up because of the outdoor fire alarm.
Devan gets her music and dance plaque.
Brian takes time out of his busy pants-dropping schedule to earn his cuisine plaque.
Kimberly gets her music and dance plaque, while Brian is obviously putting the moves on some girl.
This girl. She is #4.
Martin gets and arts and crafts plaque.
Daniel gets a music and dance plaque.
And so does Kimberly.
Undeserving Devan gets a genie lamp.
She wishes for Wealth and Piece of Mind, and I think also Beauty.
Kimberly is anxious to help Devan collect her wealth while she is in class. ;)
Devan is unenthusiastic about tinkering because I make her do it all the time, but gets a plaque nevertheless.
Zoe gets her games plaque.
Daniel is really into science. He wants to be a mad scientist, so the science plaque is not surprising.
Martin gets a cuisine plaque.
Devan gets an arts and crafts plaque.
Brian makes time for a games plaque.
Zoe gets into cooking for a cuisine plaque.
Martin graduates...
...and heads on back to Apple Grove.
Daniel also finishes his education.
No parties for these guys because of the human statue issues. Parties are no fun when people stand perfectly still.
Well, thank goodness that after some flamingo kicking she did go to her exam and got an A+.
Brian finds a little time for arts and crafts.
And still has time to get crafty in the attic. This is girl #5.
And now Brian has graduated.
Devan gets a plaque for cuisine. No, she did not prepare the food in the shower like Kramer on Seinfeld.
Kimberly graduated. I see she has outgrown her Asian phase.
Bye Kimberly! See you in Apple Grove.
Zoe went down to the student center to see if she could find more Secret Society members, but didn't see any. Instead she got yelled at to get in shape by the coach. She did meet a nice friend to play chess with. The Mrs. Claus wannabe was a little creepy.
And now Zoe has graduated. She took her finals in her nightie.
And I see that she will be going home in red pajamas. Devan is on her way to get a pizza. She will remain here until the next college round.
Scoring: 6 points for Greek house memberships, 6 points for Big Sim on Campus, 6 points for Summa Cum Laude graduates, and 23, yes 23 hobby plaques. I feel a sense of accomplishment, however - never again! The Secret Society still eludes us.

I had the same glitch as you are describing--where any party, wedding, greek house-joining would instantly freeze. It was something in the DC from MATY which was doing it--when I took my MATY hack file out, things were fine. I didn't try updating them or sorting through them one at a time, just took them all out.
This is Kerry from the Prosperity Yahoo Group, btw.
Yeah, I did finally fix the glitch, too. I love the MATY hacks, but keeping them updated is not always easy. There is a program on Paladin's Place called the Hack Conflict Detection Utility, which told me which hacks were conflicting.
Wow plaque city. I am impressed!
I still haven't received a plaque for anything yet. Great job!
Well, I don't know if I should have used macrotastics. ;)
Wow, I've never seen that your sim is in too bad a mood to go to their final exam! God bless that flamingo ;)
Wow...that was a TON of plaques. I haven't ever seen that many in uni before. I also haven't ever seen that final message before. This is why I love different blogs that play differently....you get to see things you never see in your own hood.
I was really surprised to get that message that Zoe wouldn't go to her exam - the first and last time I've seen it. I will never do all the plaques again, although I guess it just goes to show just how much time there is in Uni that they can accomplish all that and still do well in their studies.
