The Fletcher(s): Round 4 / The Bachelor in Black Spandex

Charles spent a great deal of time skilling to reach the top of his career in Showbiz and working on the impossible want of 50 Dream Dates, so there is not a lot to say in this update. As you might remember, Charles earned his Lifetime Want while at college by having 50 First dates.



I got tired of looking at the leotard. It was funny at first, but he spent so much time working out in it that I was ready for him to buy some different athletic wear.



I sent him to this little boutique, but it actually doesn't sell clothes. He really didn't need a haircut, or at least he didn't think so. By then, I was distracted and just sent him over to Game S'more to buy a cellphone while he was out and about.



Yep, it's a Noyin, but he could really use it.

He decided to stay and play a game competition, and he ended up winning on the first try. This is not a big surprise, because he got his gaming hobby plaque as a teenager.



He decided to see if paying Camryn Peshterianu full price would help him find the right woman to settle down with. He had already used her services 50 times, and most of his blind dates were really bad. But, Camryn had gotten his brother Rudy and Zoe Tucker together, so it seemed that she actually tries if you pay her a lot of money instead of the very minimum you can get away with.



She really seemed to be working hard this time. She actually put time and thought into it.



Soon Devan arrived. I was really surprised, but it's actually a really great match for both of them. They have 3 bolts of attraction. I looked at the sims he knows, and Devan was at the top of the list of sims he's attracted to that aren't already married.



They discuss rats. Hopefully, these are womrats they are excited about.



Ah-hah! There is a new townie in Apple Grove named Morgan Foreman. You will see him again soon.



Charles is now the Leading Man. He's definitely doing well in his career, and he gets to ride in a cooler car.



Charles' friend and next door neighbor Martin Tucker is also in Showbiz. Charles has heard that sometimes it pays off to take co-workers on an outing. Sometimes they can pull some strings for you.

Devan notices the heart balloons - possibly the first sim in history to notice. Is she now capable of understanding that her destiny and sometimes even her every move is being controlled by a higher power? Nah, they're just pretty spinny-things to her.

Kimberly, don't you remember that you are a married woman now? Dating Charles would probably be a bad idea. What would Ravi say?



And by the end of the round I realized that Charles is 39 years old now just like his neighbor Martin, and is not married. The only difference is that at least Charles has dated women - over 50 of them. He'll try to get 50 Dream Dates, but he will have to do that while married now since he's only had 12 dream dates and he's getting old. That's right, buddy. You are going to have to settle down soon. Will Devan be the one?
